THANK YOU WARD 2 VOTERS!!I am truly humbled by the support of Ward 2 voters who have returned me as their representative to Kitchener City Council for the next 4 years. I am committed to continuing to work hard on your behalf with the new Council. Thank you for your overwhelming support! To all of my friends, supporters and volunteers who helped make it happen... a heartfelt thank you. I couldn't have done it without you!
Dear Friends and Neighbours,Welcome to my website! While this is not the first time I have hosted a campaign website, it is my hope that this website will be become part of a growing means of staying in touch with you during the term of Council if I am fortunate enough to earn your trust again to serve another term on City Council. In fact, it was four short years ago, in 2006, when you once again put your trust in me to serve as your elected representative on Kitchener City Council. Public service is a privilege which I have always taken seriously, and I have been both humbled and grateful for your past support. Today, I approach serving you with the same energy I brought to this position when first elected in 1994, working tirelessly since, on behalf of our community. By being approachable and listening to your concerns, I have been able to get things accomplished on your behalf. A recent survey of residents told us you felt great things are happening in Kitchener, that you want us to keep up the momentum, and in some cases, even increase it. I couldn't agree more. With the new larger Council - strong, experienced leadership will be more essential than ever to ensure we make the choices required to build the kind of great community you and I want to live in tomorrow. I hope you find the information on this website useful to assist you in learning more about me, what I stand for and the work I do on your behalf both in our community and beyond. I also encourage you to follow-me on some of the other social media tools I have been using for awhile now including Facebook and Twitter. And please don't hesitate to let me know how you like the use of these new technologies, if I can make improvements to make them more relevant to you and assist in helping you become even more engaged in municipal issues in your community. In closing, on Monday October 25th, I ask for your support so that together, we can continue to make Ward 2, a great community and Kitchener, a great city to live in. Sincerely, Berry |
